Dr.
Lois Duerst
For more than twenty
years, Dr. Duerst has been providing quality dentistry in the east metro area.
She lives in Hudson, WI with her husband, Dennis, and their four children,
Amanda, Ben, Abby and Jacob. Between running the kids to activities and volunteering
at church and school, you might find Dr. Duerst out on the golf course, or
swimming or biking with her family. She loves people and truly enjoys getting
to know her patients.
Dr. Duerst received her
undergraduate degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and
her dental degree from the University of Minnesota. She continued on to complete
a two-year general practice residency program, also from the University of Minnesota.
Currently, Dr. Duerst belongs to a number of professional organizations and
study clubs which helps her stay on top of her field and satisfies her passion
for continuous learning. She has received the prestigious s Mastership
Award from the Academy of General Dentistry, which is awarded to less than
5% of dentists nationally. Dr. Duerst has also been awarded Fellowship in the
American College of Dentists, an organization dedicated to excellence, ethics
and professionalism in dentistry.

Dr.
Ben Christopherson
A lifelong resident of St. Paul, Dr. Christopherson has felt privileged to be able to practice dentistry in St. Paul and surrounding areas. Due to his strong community ties, he stays active in his community while being surrounded by many friends and family. He currently resides in West St. Paul with his wife, Erika, and their three young children, Isak, Bryn and Luke. Dr. Christopherson enjoys the outdoors, cooking, reading, skiing, playing hockey and spending time with his family.
Dr. Christopherson received his undergraduate degree in Biotechnology from Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN. After a year of professional hockey and employment as an analytical chemist, he decided to return to dental school and received his dental degree from the University of Minnesota. Committed to lifelong continuing education, he maintains membership in the American Dental Association and is very active on a local level for the St. Paul District Dental Society. Dr. Christopherson enjoys volunteering, including Give Kids a Smile and Children’s Dental Health Day, and has practiced dentistry in both the community and private practice settings.
